FİLM HAKKINDA:

“3 SAAT” 2004 yılında ÖSS’ye giren iki milyona yakın adaydan, altısının bir yıl boyunca süren macerasını anlatan bir belgeseldir. “3 SAAT”te, 12 ay boyunca, 2004 yılbaşı gecesinden 2005 yılbaşı gecesine, Galatasaray Lisesi’nden Çiğdem, Rüştü Akın Anadolu Meslek Lisesi’nden Derya, Vefa Lisesi’nden Edin, Özel Darüşşafaka Lisesi’nden Melis, Özel Semiha Şakir Lisesi’nden Mert ve Yunus Emre Lisesi’nden Yunus’un hayatlarına konuk oluyoruz. Adayları birey olarak, aile ortamlarında, okullarında, dershanelerinde, ÖSS sürecinin tüm aşamalarını yaşarken ve bu sürecin sonucunda vardıkları yerlerde izliyoruz. Adaylarımızın bir senelik yolculuğu esnasındaki hedefleri, idealleri, endişeleri, sevinçleri, hayal kırıklıkları aslında Türkiye’de ÖSS sürecinden geçmiş her bireyin yaşadıklarından çok da farklı değildir. Belgeseli izleyen seyirci, hem adayları izleyecek, hem de onların yaşamında kendinden bir parça bulacak, kendi deneyimi hatırlayacak ve belki, artık kendine sormadığı soruları tekrar sormaya başlayacaktır…

About the film:

In 3 HOURS, we witness the lives of six young university applicants Çiğdem, Derya, Edin, Melis, Mert, and Yunus throughout one year. We see them with their families, at school, at test prep schools; going through all the stages of the University Exam process, and where they end up at the end. Their goals, ideals, concerns, joys and dissappointments are not that different from those who happened to pass through the same process. The viewers will watch the characters, remember their own experiences, and maybe begin to ask the questions they have quit asking themselves.
